Infinity), at the Guidoti imports corporation building, Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) was asked by some employees especially Lorraine Delgado (Eda Nolan) about Daniel's love story. Lorraine and the other employees wanted to know if Daniel Cruz/Guidoti (Coco Martin) had no girlfriend. Later that time, Katerina never failed to ask Daniel that made the employees heartbroken because Daniel admitted that he don't have a girlfriend but there is somebody who owns his love already.

Daniel Cruz (Coco Martin) drunk himself to forget the hurt felt after seeing Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) married to Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Daniel is very determined to revenge against the Montenegro and Alcantara family. With the help of Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidoti, Daniel had a courage to face the Montenegro and Alcantara family again. Daniel can not forget how the Montenegro and Alcantara family hurt his feelings. Back then, Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) almost killed Daniel. Nathan, on the other hand, took Katerina away from Daniel. Meanwhile, Katerina and Nathan are already back home from their honeymoon. At the Montenegro Hacienda, Marco is very mad at Daniel Cruz (Coco Martin) after seeing him beat up Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Marco did not mind Daniel's reasons and threw him out of their Hacienda. Marco is very disappointed to Daniel because he thought that Daniel is a good man. On the other hand, Daniel tried to defend himself, telling Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) that Nathan started the fight. Daniel felt so bad that Marco, whom he thought is his friend, threw him outside their house. Later on, Daniel had a conversation with his grandmother, Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) about what happened to him at the Montenegro Hacienda.

Daniel Cruz (Coco Martin) will not leave the Alcantara Hacienda even though Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) already dragged him with a horse. Daniel got bruises and arm injury but still lives at the horses' stable to protect Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes). Daniel don't want to be away from Katerina as what he promised to Katerina's father, William Alcantara (Joel Torre). Daniel promised to take care of Katerina and let her finish College first before they can continue their relationship.
